Al Fazzini Hired as Senior Project Manager

We are pleased to introduce another incredible new team member joining the Halyard family: Al Fazzini!
With a passion for building inspired by his grandfather, Al’s 45 year career in the engineering and construction industry started as a civil engineer, eventually becoming a Registered Professional Engineer in six states. His portfolio of projects initially included assignments at
electric utility, chemical, and petrochemical plants. Later he specialized in healthcare and higher education, rounded out by the life sciences, cultural, commercial, and infrastructure market sectors.
Al prides himself on utilizing his background to gain a deep and purposeful understanding of all aspects of a project. By building meaningful relationships and skillfully communicating with designers, owners, and contractors, Al helps teams effectively navigate change and make
informed decisions critical to the success of the project.
Al is also no stranger to the Halyard team. His friendship with Mike Hanna Sr. spans over four decades — from being neighbors to partnering in wine making with their sons. Professionally, the two complement one another on both the construction and owner side, while also working with Mike Jr. and Frank Casper in previous roles.
“Even with their impressive team experience, Halyard is looking to take the next exciting step on their journey with new perspectives and backgrounds,” Al explained. “I knew that being able to play a part in writing that chapter would be really rewarding for me — because I’m doing so with good friends! I look forward to advocating for our clients and using my experience to get good value for them, which will really help the business grow.”
