Chris DeBellis’s journey into construction was sparked by a childhood love of building—fueled by countless hours with LEGOS and a curiosity about how things come together.
After earning a degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University, Chris explored design before moving into construction management, where he found his passion for transforming ideas on paper into tangible, sustainable spaces.
Throughout his career, Chris has managed a wide spectrum of projects across industries like pharmaceuticals and commercial real estate. His experience includes ground-up builds, laboratory fit-outs, solar energy installations, and large-scale site consolidations. At Halyard, Chris applies his expertise in sustainability and efficiency to deliver projects that not only meet client goals but also make a positive environmental impact.
Chris thrives on learning through hands-on experience in the field, and holds several sustainability-focused certifications, including LEED AP BD+C as well as being a Fitwel Ambassador. His leadership style in a project setting prioritizes collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability, ensuring that every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
